“In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit…” Pictures from The Hobbit set

Quint over at Ain’t It Cool News turned me a rather fetching shade of green yesterday… The lucky chap was invited to embed himself on the set of The Hobbit for the entirety of their location shoot.

In his first report he wrote that he would be “…spending over two months in New Zealand rolled in with the crew and writing up their adventures, hassles, triumphs and tribulations as they travelled all over the country shooting bits and pieces from the upcoming two-parter prequel to The Lord of the Rings“.

Quint has very kindly said that bloggers and other websites can you use photographs. I’ve selected a couple of my favourites – I get goose pimples just looking at them!

You can read his first report here but beware, there are spoilers…
